This thesis was submitted and accepted for a Master’s in Philosophy a long time ago in an ambition far far away.  As far as this author knows, its writing precedes the current interest in Heidegger along the themes discussed within, particularly the transcendental dimensions to his early thought, now available in Crowell and Malpas’ collection, Transcendental Heidegger.  The author presently thinks the thesis too self-evident to require supplementation and additional defense, given the now available works by Heidegger, and the plethora of reliable secondary sources.  In fact, it considers the scholarship here contextual overkill for a thesis that really should be clear enough on a straightforward and non-partisan reading of Being and Time.
